“Neither Peace, Development nor Human Rights can flourish in an atmosphere of corruption”. – Ban Ki-moon
“Saving our planet, lifting people out of poverty, advancing economic growth…these are one and the same fight. We must connect the dots between climate change, water scarcity, energy shortages, global health, food security and women’s empowerment. Solutions to one problem must be solutions for all.”- Ban Ki-moon
Well said, Ban! The sooner we realise that the continuity of corruption, favouritism, tribalism and religious sentiments obstructs Nigeria’s growth, development and peace; the better for our country, Nigeria.
Everyone has a part to play in Nigeria’s development. For you to experience development and growth in Nigeria, avoid partaking in any form of corruption, favouritism, tribalism and religious sentiments. The change we desire in Nigeria begins with YOU.
More so, we shouldn’t keep depending on only the Nigerian Government to solve the problem of Sustainable Development in Nigeria. It is time for you and me to proffer sustainable solutions as well as implement these solutions to Nigeria’s development problems.
Nevertheless, despite contributing in our own little way, The Government still has a major influence on Nigeria’s Development. Hence, the need to vote WISELY in Nigeria is highly encouraged. Never be carried away with vain promises and ‘eye-service’ benevolent gestures of politicians when election is fast approaching.
Advocate and vote for politicians who do not only have the vision of Sustainable Development in Nigeria but also have a History of Contribution to Sustainable Development in Nigeria.
Let us all join the movement for Sustainable Development in Nigeria!
